Edgnett’s technicians have an intimate knowledge of the Pasminco business systems and their WAN/LAN setup. This was invaluable to both parties in removing the mine from the Pasminco WAN and readying the IT infrastructure for the installation of new systems to service the site for the new mine management. Our contract also involved the collation of Pasminco data and passing it to their head office and the setup and testing of new servers for the new company. These tasks were completed to specification and with in the (very narrow) time constraints.
February 2000/July 2002 – Provided contracted, on-site IT technical support for Pasminco for their mine sites at Broken Hill and Cobar (Elura Mine) and at the Port Pirie smelter. This included ensuring that all Pasminco IT policies were complied with and compiling internal performance reports. Our contractors worked closely with Pasminco Corporate IT personnel and were kept abreast of all new Pasminco IT developments.
