Edgnett is committed to supporting the region through sponsorship and support for community and educational initiatives. From 1997 we have supported the DET career development program by providing work experience for Y10, Y11 and Y12 students. Edgnett have taken part in the School Based Trainee Program since it’s inception which has resulted in permanent employment We have also provided sponsorship for awards for students at a number of Broken Hill and regional schools, including Willyama High School, Broken Hill High School, Broken Hill School of the Air, Tibooburra Outback School of the Air and Pooncarie Public School. We also sponsored a major DET award for the top Western Region IT student in 2002. Edgnett has also contributed to other organisations including Tibooburra Festival Committee, Broken Hill Golf & Country Club, Red Desert Live and Lifeline Broken Hill inc.. Edgnett sponsor Broken Hill Carols by Candlelight annually.
